Breezie I'll see what I can do. Some patterns are pretty big and I have to go office store for copies. Can't send it until swap is over since its a mystery so will do my best to get it before then and let you know the cost.

Glad they are reaching their destinations. Sheryn, I hope Helen waterproofs yours! lol!

Oh yes, there will be PM'ing, and maybe PMS'ing too! Shocked I left a crucial note out of every envelope-how many you are supposed to make. Thud Thank goodness FB caught it early.

So sorry everyone. Not trying to add more confusion, just laid the notes in the wrong place and forgot them. So I am going to PM everyone and let them know what to make. So don't make them all tonight, winking wait until you hear from me.

Again, I am so sorry. Will start PM'ing now. bad girl

Ok, just did a frantic PM session to correct my boo boo.

Please check your PMs to get the correct amount of blocks you should make. Do not go by any little notes jotted in the margins of patterns.

If you do not get a PM let me know. I checked my list 3 times. I hope I have it right now.

Check your email, I have just emailed each person photo's of their blocks so you will have a visual guide to colour/fabric types. If we keep to these kind of colour schemes the whole thing will come together at the end. So if your block photo is in brown tones, please dont make your block in pinks & blues, make it in browns Thumbup

PostSubject: Re: Summer Themed Mystery Swap    Fri Oct 24, 2014 2:57 pm

We've had numerous questions about color etc so I help the following helps a little.

Most of the blocks are small so this means small prints and blenders. Large prints will not work in this quilt. Most of the colors, whether they be light, medium, or dark shades, give you a warm summery feeling. They are based on reality. Like Helen said, if they look brown in the picture, please don't use pink or blue. There are no hot pinks, fluorescent greens, neon yellows, etc in this quilt. Backgrounds must be light cream or off white, no tans, because some of the colors are lighter and we still want good contrast.

Hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need help. Very Happy

Has everyone received their patterns? Please contact us if you are missing, either your patterns which were snail mailed or the grainy colour photos which were emailed.

I need to recheck what Im making and start thinking about finding fabrics and getting organised! Oh and dont forget, a lot of the blocks have small pieces, you dont have to make them all the same, you can use your scraps, the blocks can be different - as long as they are in the right colour tones

Has it been decided yet when the blocks are to be finished and are we signing them?

The blocks are not due until after the first of the year. Unless of course everyone gets theirs' done next week and wants to send them in. lmao lmao lmao

Hmmm, went back and read, couldn't find where we addressed whether to sign or not????? I'll ask Helen and see if she remembers if we discussed it.

With the holidays and people being busy, the blocks wont be due until early next year. I dont recall anyone discussing if they were to be signed etc. What does everyone want to do?
