Is there any interest in making a specific block to be used in a friendship quilt as a swap?

Block?
Theme?
Color?
Signatures?
Quotes?

Sign me up!

I have an album quilt unfinished because it doesn't seem right without signatures from friends.

I'm in too.  I'd be honored to show off a quilt made by my friends on here.

I would participate too.

Block? I would like something traditional
Theme? maybe all the same blocks. something that creates a secondary design when placed with the others
Color? assign a different color to each person. Depending on how many sign up we might have two blocks of each color?
Signatures? definitely
Quotes? I personally would not want to do that much writing.

Just throwing these thoughts out there. Pretty much open to whatever everyone agrees on.

Me too! Definitely signatures, undecided about quotes, theme, blocks, and color--anything goes for me. BTW, I think this is a wonderful idea!

I like that Anita. And here is an easy scrappy block. Could help us use up odds and ends.

Golo I will always love the Row by Row that we done I think you should post a picture of your finished Schoolhouse and the Row by row too just to show how much talent that has been in the past.

That row by row was just awesome!!

Betweens, I have been asked several times to enter that in Quilt Shows but I never want to take the chance of it getting stolen or damaged... I will post a picture and tell the story....

Love seeing how many of you are interested!

Keep throwing around ideas, then we'll put it to a vote....is that ok?

I like the assigning colors suggestion from TXMary.

I like TxMarys scrappy block, something different to the usual ones you see. I think signed with screen and real name and location would be good, I love reading my blocks and knowing where they came from.

betweens my row by row is currently on the couch, will have to get a photo, if you remember Ellen had you all make rows and the quilt was a gift to me, that blew me away, I love my row by row, each summer I lay it on the top of my bed so I can admire it. I will have to get a photo too.
