AnnMarie, thank you, now thats right up my alley that kind of design, love it and I think Im very very tempted!

It would look good worked on linen, I have both beige and a dark charcoal in linen, wonder if I have enough?

5yds, ouch, I dont have that much, linen is dearer than cotton, might have to use cotton instead, still 5yds, thats over $100 right there, hmmmm might have to divide it up and buy background in lengths to make it doable

Update: DH talked me into going down to the hardware store where they sell quilt fabric, sure glad I went, picked up nice black homespun on sale, got my 5m for $24 US ($29 Australian)  so guess Im doing this BOM this year Very Happy Funny, Ive bought and used more black in the last 4mnths than I have in 15yrs of sewing.

I LOVE the Snap Shots! I saw that one yesterday too and am downloading it. It looks cute and easy to do so not time consuming.

Ann Marie I'm downloading Oma's Blues Quilt. I've been following her site for a few years now! Love her stuff! Saving the Morning Glory one too!

Gimpy I like the Deco Garden because it is so different! But that Snapshot is so cute, too!

Probably won't get to any of them this year. cry2

I traced and cut out the pieces for the first block last night, Im coverting it to needle turn and it was easy as pie to do. I dont normally do BOM's, did one that bunny hill basket one years ago and one of Esther Aliuas' the red one a few years back for my parents, first time Ive done one since.

I did both of those BOM's too. I'm hoping to get the bunny hill one together this year!

I did Esther's in purple. I quilted part of it once and didn't like it, so I picked it all out. I was lucky enough to find some more of the border fabric which I had to replace. I just am afraid my quilting skills need to be better before I attempt it again. Don't think the poor quilt could take another picking!

Mary Ann, the Bunny Hill  one is the only one I'm printing. I get the newsletter from Morning Glory Designs and I have all of last years BOM plus the bonuses saved, but this year's project isn't one that interests me.

This is a whole different direction from my norm. I used to check (and save) a whole list of BOMs at the beginning of each month. Now...

Well, maybe I'll feel differently when/if I get my Year One Bunny Hill BOM (the one with the baskets) finished. That thing has been thiiiiisssss close for at least 2 years, probably 3 (maybe 4!). doh
