Yes Ive made them 3 times it makes a lot, enough that one mug I share between the three of us, they are nice, not too sweet, lovely with ice cream and work well. Lots of recipes out there. Make sure you use a good sized mug, Ive added cinnamon to mine once too, that was lovely, I did the choc chips the first time but too rich for me so left them out since. Id find a recipe that doesnt need cake mix, my recipes dont have cake mix, I know there is one on the recipe section, will see if I can find it. Here is Nigella Lawsons recipe, it sounds like mine, love your new avatar!

Ingredients

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips
1 splash of vanilla extract
Method

You will need a large coffee mug.
Add dry ingredients to the mug and mix well.
Add in the egg and mix well.
Pour milk and oil and mix again.
Add Chocolate chips, if using, and vanilla and mix well to get a smooth consistency.
Place in the microwave for 3 minutes on high for a 1,000 watt oven, or vary time depending on your particular microwave (mine only needs 2:20 minutes)

here is Golo's recipe I found in Recipe section

Here something quick :P

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons cake flour(that's plain flour, not

self-rising)

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons baking cocoa

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil

3 tablespoons chocolate chips(optional)

a small splash of vanilla essence

1 coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well

Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla essence, and

mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at

1000 watts. The cake

will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be

alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if

desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more

virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the

world?

Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate

cake at any time of the day or

night!

I made this for DH today with chocolate chips and whipped cream on top. His birthday is next week and I will be in Baltimore. He loved it. I bought one of those large cups you can use for soup.
