Marynel your row is gorgeous, love the snazzy waist coat and your basket, geat job. The cottages, I was thinking of doing mine with a night sky so I can have warm yellow windows like the light shining out and have the smoke from the fire rising white against the sky but then I thought it could be good with either a sunny blue sky or a snowy sky fabric, hmmmmmm. I did the roofs as thatch like english cottages, Im hoping to find some fabric that looks like thatch, straw or grass if I can

Oh, I thought that was snow on the roofs. I think I may have some thatch-like fabric, however.

Thanks. DH recognized it immediately. It is a scrap of really high end stuff from when I made DH a shirt sometime in the 80's. I would not mind THAT scrap multiplying.

well you know, snow on the roofs is a better idea I think, all nestled into a snowy valley, I like that better I think

That's good, because I don't have the straw fabric after all. I'll have to wait for my starry fabric to arrive to work on it.

Love it MN. Love his black/white vest with red accessories, very chic. Thumbup Hmm, didn't think about thatch for those roofs, have to file that idea because I thought snow too. Will be a while before I get to it but have all my patterns printed and together.

I had another idea for a row, not that we need one:  eaves with icicles hanging down.

Better image of clothesline, although you still can't tell that the vest is blues and greys. I am thinking that since I put the snowman too high, I should either cut off the bottom or an a brick or stone walkway.

you could simply embroider a line like he is on a little hill or undulating ground, continue it under the basket?

We know penguins are the stubborn sort, otherwise their eggs would never be sat upon long enough to hatch. It's in their DNA.

I finally finished Linda's skating snowbears.  The images she sent me were so cute and detailed that I just had to print them on fabric.  My first try was too big.  I tried to get more on one page, but the program was not cooperating.  I printed 4 bears, 2 of them with big smudges. azn   The rest was easy.

Since I am using what I has on hand, , yes those are flowers on the snow area. BTW, I am presuming the sign says, "No skating."

Nice fabrics Marynel, I love fossil fern, need to add to my little collection, its so versatile and I just love it, your sky is great and the bears came out just right. I think the flowers you have might be white crocus or snow drops, totally expected to be poking through the snowy mantle! Too cute, great job

Here is Marynels row, I changed my snowman so he is looking up into the sky at an aurora - northern lights. I gave him a purple top hat as that is Marynels favourite colour Very Happy
