Ive been so buried under produce lately this is slipping away from me, I dont want this one to get lost in the works, I really want to do it, just have to get through the last of the veges and then I will be free! I have ideas though, how will I ever choose which one to go with Undesided

That's right so you can add borders if you want!

I like my finished quilt tops to be 42", so I will certainly be adding borders. We agreed going in that we were not actually doing this until June or so. Gimpy, you have plenty of time to finish your canning/freezing first.

My row is in the gallery but I can't get it here to paste.  New procedure apparently.  Nice that it allows us to load multiple photos into the gallery.  Real timesaver there.

I should have known.  I can paste if I use Internet Explorer but not if I'm on Google Chrome.  Thud

But look at the new trick I learned using edit. Feels like I went in the back door but it work to get two photos in the same post.

I as wondering if we should post what our row theme will be so we don't have multiples of the same theme.

In honor of my new red friend I am going to design a row with Cardinals, holly and snow.

Thats a good idea, go ahead and post your row ideas/plans if you want. Redmadder I love your snowy row, its lovely, really is purty! Well done, how high is it? Linda, yours sounds tantalizing, cant wait to see what you do. Does anyone else know what they are doing? I have been thinking of doing a simple row actually, it appeals to me, a bare branch extending across a snowy background with the scarlet robin that has moved into overwinter in our garden sitting on it, he totally makes my day over and over again every time I see him. Here is a pic I took a couple of days ago, look at him leaning into the gale force wind trying to keep from being blown off his perch!

Soon as I find it, I'll let you know. It is 30 1/2 wide. I'll post the instructions, again, when I find it. Embarassed doh

when do you want to swap these rows? Sept/Oct so you have them for your winter? Gives us all time to design and make a row so we can share the design and a photo of ours made. What do you all think?

Using Linda's idea, so far we have, row design wise

Redmadder - snowy log cabin mountains
Linda2B - cardinals with holly and snow
Marynel - fir trees, snowman and snow (paper pieced)
TxMary -
Betweens -
Golo -singing cardinals on a branch
Gimpy Cat -

we can fill it in as people create theirs, sound ok?

Betweens, be brave! I remember when it was unthinkable for me to design something. There's a locked room in your head and we'll give you the key to open it. I promise, there are wonderful things in there.

No pressure, you understand. hahaha

Y'all please keep reminding me about this. What with moving Cassie back and trying to get the other house ready for oldest to move into, I keep forgetting.

Helen, didn't Marynel already post her design with some trees and a snowman? Did I dream that up (Hallucinate) or was that not her official one?
