Jacob's Ladder is just Jack's Step Stool.

Flying Geese are just Walking Ducks.

Lady of the Lake is just Some Broad in a Puddle.

Road to Oklahoma is a Path to Nowhere.

And that Lucky Clover......just a Green Weed

betweens, I've given this some thought and have decided I'm not going to participate in this swap after all. I need to be realistic about what I can get done and I don't want to make a promise I can't keep. I enjoy the swaps so much, but must bow out of this one.

I e-mailed Betweens and told her I was getting out of this one too.  Right now I have too much on my plate and I need to slow down for a bit.  Still now sure what's going on health wise and like Jill don't want to end up breaking a promise.  I love our swaps and hope to continue to be in them, but just not right now.  Maybe again come the first of the year.  Hopefully by then I'll be caught up and will feel better too.

sorry you are both bowing out, life can end up piling a lot on our plates and feeling stressed over something takes the fun out of it. Ive worried about it too to be honest, right now I kind of have a moment of quiet but from next month on I have to start sowing seed and running the hot house and getting prepared for spring planting, between now and then I need to get all the 43 fruit trees pruned and some are about 18' tall so its gonna be a lot of work and get some other areas under control before spring growth starts and it will be too late and I wont have the time because of the vege garden.

Gimpy, it seems like it has only been a very short while that it was summer there, and now you have all the work facing you again. Like you, I enjoy it, but it does take time and energy. I enjoy the swaps so much, but I also know it's not good for me when I get to feeling overwhelmed, and that's where I am now. It seems like my workload increases all the time, never a day to myself, maybe an hour if I'm lucky. Next month MIL will be here for a week, which isn't long, but it will all be on me. Enough of the pity party, but I thank you for understanding that sometimes life gets pretty crazy.

Jill Im thinking a winter under snow might not be so bad, at least you really do get a break from the garden then, here, well, you garden all year around, I have crops in the vegetable garden and lots of other garden jobs to do and clean up etc and a lot of stuff is growing all year like the weeds! I hope things will be ok when your MIL is there, your DH better do something to help, Im glad at least you can get outside for a breath of fresh air at the moment and enjoy the garden, that makes a big difference

Bless your heart,  I don't work good under pressure.  I end up taking more out than I put in!    With the sugar problem right now and not knowing what is what I tend to get panic attacks.  Not bad ones right now, but I'm at the point I don't really want to go anywhere.  And that is NOT me.  And when I do I almost have to take a nerve pill before I leave the house.  So thats what made me know something was up with the sugar.  Because that's how it affects me.  Once they find out what's going on hopefully things will smooth out.... hopefully.
