Linda that is simply beautiful, the bird is so pretty, such a lovely expression on its face and the whole design is beautiful, never seen anything like it, lovely colour choices and the extra goodies sure are sweet

I can't get the picture to load.

Its like looking out the window and seeing this marvelous landscape.  I saved a big blank area on the wall for it and its everything I could have hoped for.  Helen, you are a wonderful artist

So glad you like it Stella, I really enjoyed coming up with something I thought you would like then drawing it up and making it. I worked on it in the snow, sitting on the beach, by the fire and out in the garden. Enjoy

Really well done Helen. Love it.

Red, it's like having a magic window to another land. Lucky you.

TxMary, that's exactly what it's like. Its on the wall opposite the windows and every time I look up, its like another window. The textures and shading make it look so real.

The 30's prints are just perfect for the hens. The baskets are a new one on me. Just love it.

Love the Texas potholders. And that recipe sounds tasty.

Gorgeous potholder Sheryn. Love it. I am happy you like the mini. I tried to incorporate as much of your favorites as I could. hug08

I received a lovely mini wallhanging from kany this week! We've been talking a little bit and she has kindly allowed me to be a bit  Thud late with the one I've made for her.

I pulled the finished mini I made for kany out of the dryer yesterday, and other than a couple of quilting threads that didn't get buried, it is yummy and cozy and ready to fly to Barcelona.

I need to bury those two thread ends, photograph the quilt, and get it packaged up for mailing. I'll get to that at the end of the week, after I return from checking on mom's house tomorrow.

PS, I really miss my girlfriends who "love handwork"!  I had to do the whole binding by hand, by myself! Oh, what has this world come to??!?!!

Here is the lovely country wallhanging that kany sent to me, with some equally lovely extra goodies! Can you see the little buttons? Wooden Sunbonnet Sues and Sams!

Dont panic Red, a parcel that was posted Nov 30th just showed up so yours is most likely not too far away. Our mail service shuts down a lot over the holiday break and then they only deliver weekdays and dropping that back to 2 or 3 times a week so everything is slowed here, Im sure its ok

Kany, your mini is too cute, great fabrics and colours, well done!!
