| I'm reading The Witch of Little Italy, by Suzanne Palmieri. It seems to take a lot for granted at times, but overall it is keeping me interested.
A couple of books back I tried a new series by Carolyn Hart. I read Ghost at Work, about a woman who gets to be a guardian angel. She is 'assigned' someone who is being framed for murder, so she is off and running to try to solve the mystery. It was fun and kinda fluffy. I've acquired the rest of the series and will dip into it again fairly soon. _________________ |

| I recently finished "Circling the Sun" by Paula McLain. It's a bit like "Out of Africa." Now I'm reading her first book, "The Paris Wife". It's a fictional novel about Ernest Hemmingway & his wife but follows things factually as much as possible. Both books are well done. |

| I gave up on A Little Death in Dixie and am now reading a so so horror called The Silence by Tim Lebon, I just keep thinking he copied his creatures from the sci fi movie Riddick, its all I can picture when I read about them. _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| I seem to be in the mood for fluff these days. I finished The Little Witch from Italy. I'm having a hard time figuring out what to write in the review. The writing was good, in a technical way, and the story was compelling. But sometimes there were plot holes big enough to drive a Buick through. I did like it. But it could have been so much better.
Then I went on to Thirty-Three Teeth, second in a series about a medical examiner in Laos. That sounds so much more highbrow than it really was. It was whimsical and had some humour and mystery.
Then I started Anathem, by Neal Stephenson. Right now I'm just not ready to explore a whole new planet with a new language, I think. I usually like Stephenson's work, so I'm pretty sure it's my headspace, not the author's writing or story.
So, I started up Aunt Dimity and the Wishing Well. It's been a long time since I read anything in this series (I'm not reading them in order), so it'll take me a while to get back into that 'world'. But I recall that they're fun and fluffy, so that's what's on deck for me, for now. _________________ |

| FB I read a mixture of books and something easy and simple, enjoable and well, fluffy as you put it starting to appeal. A Norah Roberts just came into the library, thought Id try hers,, its the first of 3, something about an Inn. Im just flipping through the horror story, kinda dull. _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| Once I finished college I said I would never read anything but fiction for the rest of my life. I just wanted to read fluff, nothing that I knew I'd be tested on ever again. For the most part I've stuck to my resolution. |

| I finished Hotel Paradise and really enjoyed the narration by the 12 year old, slow moving as far as the mystery, but I really enjoyed it.
I finally got started on the final (published) Outlander book, Written in My Own Heart's Blood, and I was hooked from the beginning. I can hardly put it down. |

| Currently on Unbreakable by Kami Garcia. This is book #40 for the year (if I haven't missed any on my list). I think I'll just post when I start a new one, so you won't think I'm a Missing Member. _________________ |

| I have just started Dragonfly in Amber - it is the second book in the Outlander series by Dianne Galbadon. I managed to buy the whole 8 book series as PDF files on cd - $10 for the lot so I can load them on to my iPad. |
