PostSubject: New use for plyers   Fri 19 Jun - 16:54

I bought some seat covers for my van was ready for a splash of excitement... they went on hard and a little crooked and I took them off once. So after putting them on again I got the handy dandy plyer's and started to little by little work the seat cover so it wasn't wrinkled. It worked, but I didn't feel like putting the passenger side on today.... lol.... azn tigger

I use plyers for all kinds of things too, just so handy, Im glad you got it work, good luck with the passenger seat tomorrow. I bought seat covers last summer, loved them and cleaned up the seats as stuff was spilled on them etc They had a grand strapping system but all the straps broke and in the end I took them back.

Many years ago, my exDH came home from work, and told me that he'd promised a co-worker I would make new leather seat covers for a car he was trying to sell. (That's a clue as to why he's an EX-DH.) What a job! I did a fair job, guess it was good enough that he sold his car quickly, but I informed exDH never ever promise anything like that again or he would be making them.

A lot of people think if you can sew you can make anything. I've been sewing a long, long time but there are zillions of things I wouldn't even attempt.
