So here are the 5 blocks I made for the Hearts & Flowers challenge. So I'll have 5 chances to win (out of about 1000 entries - Ha Ha). The first 4 I made into a table runner & the last one I will mail to Carol for the second drawing.

Carol Doak has just started a new BOM called Simply Radiant - kind of star like with connecting blocks. You can read about it in her June Newsletter - scroll almost to the end"

Iabm.. I love your tulip blocks!! they are lovely.. I know what you mean this group is very active and very busy..it is amazing how generous CD is..

Her new BOM is going to be fantastic. I have printed out the first block and want to keep up with it..I am thinking that I am going to do an assortment of beiges for the connecting blocks I have a great idea for them.. I may use the same blocks for another swap I had done earlier last year of Carol's group...

did you get the first block done already??

No, I'm having trouble deciding what to do. I don't really like the connector blocks and 60 x 60 is too big for me - I'd rather have a wall hanging. I wish I had a program to shrink the 12" block to 8" then I could do them all. So I'm just going to make the monthly blocks until I get inspired.

Color is an issue too. I like the floating concept so will make the outer wedges the same color as the background but can't decide if I want a print BG with coordinating inners or maybe off white or black with bright colored inners. Decisions, decisions! I'm having pp'ing withdrawal though so I'm itching to get started.
