my MIL made 1000 quilts that she gave away and that was when everything was cut by scissors and cardboard templates...

Wow Barb, that was so nice she offered to create an exclusive for us here, it would be our very own, I think that is such an amazingly generous offer from her, what a gesture of kindness. I would just love to join you for a special xmas BOM, I could use my stickers for sewing days, one for each month DH gave me for xmas to work on the block. Oh yes please, Id love to have her do one for us.

Oh gosh, I started in 1974 and still don't keep records. Maybe I will try to remember how many, I do remember most of them. Funny, its easy to recall people who I made quilts for. There are thousands of employees, acquaintances, neighbors, etc. that I don't remember at all. Hip, hip, hooray for Marynell.

Bearfoot, I agree with Gimpy. How wonderful that she offered to do an exclusive for us. I surely would join that. Could you write another post here for people that didn't see that? It came at a bad time for me with all the Christmas rush and maybe other people didn't see it either.

I emailed her back a while ago and thanked her for her generous offer but that we seemed to be overwhelmed by Christmas and would not be doing this now. But it is nice to know that she would take the time to do this!
