Anita its beautiful, well done, just lovely clap

Bratt you are right, imagine them done in wintery blue fabrics with snowflakes and white backgrounds or as you said in fall colours, perhaps if I was doing it, just one tree would have some leaves turning and one would have some pink pieces to represent spring blossoms, so many ways to do a tree quilt

The block is finished. I used cream and green, just the two fabrics. It was hard for me to keep track of how it went together. Your block is great with all the scrappy fabrics.

What's next, I'm ready!

I once did a Temperance Tree with 144 HST in red, white, and blue. Come to think of it, that is the center of my history class quilt. Maybe I can dig that out and post a picture.

Nice job, red!  Was looking through my patterns. I found  a page of graphs of tree blocks in I Don't Care if You Sit On My Quilt by Mary Ellen Hopkins. Do you have that book?

Pine Tree

I used to have her book. Gifted it to someone. Anyway, for now if you post a block with the finished size, I can draft it. Mary Ellen wouldn't mind. I loved the way she talked about 'your personal quarter inch'.

What size was that first block you posted supposed to be?

Wow, great job! You are gonna put me to shame on this, red! Thinking next block will be proud pine. Do you have the 6,500 quilt block book? There are 6 or 8 pages of tree blocks. I am really surprised there are not more tree blocks available online!

I have seen each of these blocks before but the scrappy look really improves them.

This looks very intriguing. I'm thinking 5 blocks on point would make a nice wall hanging.

Aren't I the cheap one. I'm thinking I don't want to buy 2 perpetual calendar block books to get the extra blocks. I'm going to see other options, but I really do like this idea.

I can give you the cutting directions, Luvs. And pic pof the block or if you would like I can make copies of the instructions and snail mail them.

That would be lovely. I just need the 12" ones as I thought to do about 8 blocks on point. All 12" blocks. I'm thinking something similar to this one. I found this on Pinterest.
