Of course not, I posted them to be enjoyed. On another site, I saw the basic unit, with little red hexagon berries, as a Christmas wreath table topper. All I did was play with the hexagon-triangle idea.

You are very welcome. My preference would be for appliqued leaves and stems, but that is entirely a personal thing,

I am so far behind on my own projects that I don't want to start others, but this area is very tempting and playing with designs does not count as quilting time, right?

No its classed as helping others - quilt community service - artistic tai chi for the mind (gotta stretch and excercise those creative muscles) being proactive in sharing in fun and its not classed as a UFO so its good all around!!!

Thanks. Any time I am not feeling up to sewing for any reason, I design blocks or quilts. Right now, I think I am about 3,000 ahead of production. Not all qualify as WAD's but it keeps my brain active.

You know, there are almost too many possibilities with Summer. Much harder to narrow down than a more specific theme like Easter. Keep re-doing my ideas.

Ok so who do we have swapping rows?

Gimpy Cat
TxMary
Memaw
Linda2b

Is that right? If not please post and let me know, I guess we should think of a cut off date for swapping, any thoughts? How many rows do you want to swap?

Maybe we should share what summer elements we are using so we go as many different elements of summer as possible. I think 2 rows since we have so many choices and then we can mix and match.

Ok two rows each it is, good idea to mix and match elements of designs if you want, more fun Very Happy

Swap Info

2 Rows each to be designed and swapped with other participants

If you have started your rows or have you idea firmly in your head please share your basic design element so others can avoid doubling up, you could just say - eg: beach balls

Gimpy Cat - I have no idea what my rows will be at this stage
TxMary
Memaw
Linda2b

Cut off date to swap patterns April 30

That's just an easy date to remember and its just under 3 weeks away (Im going to be pressed for time the next two weeks as once again its school holidays for the next 2 weeks)

I will put a copy of this info into the very first post too so its easy to find Very Happy
