Snakes? They are everywhere come summer, even at the beach, actually last summer I saw a wallaby on the beach hopping around (like a small kangaroo)

Birdhouses sounds very good to me, as an uninvolved outsider.

lmao lmao lmao

As a small child, one hot summer day I decided to take a nap while my uncle showed the others some caves. I woke up nose to nose with a small rattler that my big brother had collected in a defective container. I departed the car very carefully. My uncle 'discussed' the subject with big brother. On a hot day, a snake would love the shade under an Adarondack (sp?) chair. Memaw would probably find it about as amusing as I did on that long ago summer day.

I was laying on the bottom of the pool one summers day and out of the corner of my eye I caught a movement, it was a red belly black snake, about 5ft long, swam out of the filter box and was swimming casually across the pool surface. I think all the oxygen I had just withered up when I saw that and all I could think was "I have to get past it" Shocked Shocked Shocked

I do have to admit, it was kinda surreal and it did look pretty amazing, the blue ceiling of the sky and water, the ripples moving away from the snake, its red belly and its black sides showing as it undulated from side to side, kind of thing you see on a documentary.

And I have ants. Not telling which row but I got 'em. lol!

Ack, just realized how close the deadline is getting. I think I need to get at least one of my rows fused. Looks kinda bad drawn on paper but really won't be that hard. Y'all know I don't do hard so don't panic. Guess I should say it doesn't look very attractive. It's better in color.

I will shoot you Gimpy!    But speaking of snakes, my youngest DD was walking in her yard Monday evening with her dog and walked by their above ground pool.  She looked down for some reason and looking up at her was a very long brown beady eyed snake!   She let out a loud scream and started running which got the dog running thinking she was playing, but she of course wasn't.  But she did outrun the dog to the house!    Oh, what I would of given to have seen that!  lmao lmao

First row is 95% finished.  It just needs fused down.   Second row will be of birdhouses and birds.   Yes, TxMary I need to get with the program also..... Shocked

Me too!

Our contractor found a baby snake in the down stairs bathroom. He killed it before I had a chance to tell him it was a harmless garden snake.
