I am in. I might be a bit late with my rows, I seem to be a bit behind and I need to get my mug rugs done, but I am in.

We got a bit of rain today. Supposed to be more next week.

Already can't stop my brain from heading here. I love Halloween. Gotta narrow down my ideas.

I don't "do" Halloween now that I don't have kids at home. I will enjoy lurking, however.

My older son won a local costume contest 5 years in a row, before someone objected that I was a professional seamstress and should not have been allowed to enter. I wasn't, but I always made CLOTHES, rather than pinned and glued together one use costumes. My sons were very possessive about their fancy outfits.

I drew up two rows today, one with goofy spiders and one with flying witches & pumpkins. I need background fabric which I hope to get tomorrow to make them up, I will get the patterns scanned on Friday. I emailed Linda to see if she wants to be included and I just wanted to say 'dont worry about being late' with the patterns, this is for fun, amongst friends. I just wanted to catch up on some things and the halloween rows were next on my 'to do' list, hence, Im suddenly on time when I figured Id be late too. :witch: :witch: :witch: :witch:

I'm not in this swap, but am using the black and white spider and web fabric (bought for a challenge) as backing these days.

Linda has run into problems at her place, contractor didnt do a good job etc, they let him go and are left doing the remainder of the work themselves, she is hardly unpacked and exhausted/frustrated. She cant officially join the swap but was wondering if perhaps we would consider sharing our designs with her and then in a few months time when she is finally settled into her place she could send us her designs. Im happy to send her mine so she doesnt miss out.

Marynel, spider web fabric would be perfect for halloween!

Ack! I did drop the ball or rather the pumpkin!!! So sorry. Just flat out forgot. Will get on it this weekend.

Poor Linda, I had a bad feeling when she wasn't posting that things had gone south on that house. I hope it is not too bad and they can fix it. I'll be glad to share and she can do hers whenever.

What is it with this house?  I sure hope they didn't pay this contractor for a job not done right.  This has been nothing but a nightmare for them.

I'll try and talk Jill into this swap!

I'll have this ready by the end of June!  Please.
I have NO problem sharing mine with Linda.

This is gonna be a fun one.  Is it also 2 rows the same size as the spring/summer?

I did two rows as not sure how many swappers, be fun if Jill can be coerced or just plain threatened into joining lol!

I had forgotten this was due too, do you all want to make the swap date the end of June? Would that be better for everyone? I dont mind, let me know what you want to do

Please, end of June. I got lucky at Wally World (that could be a T-shirt) and have some perfect autumn fabrics. I've even got an idea for a row! I'm in if you'll have me.

Yeah, end of June would just make it feel like some pressure is off. I will still get on it but just feel better mentally, if that is possible geek

Memaw, yes, the measurement are the same. 30 1/2" wide, however tall you need, just remember the printer only does 8 1/2", which is why we tend to stick to that.
So here is our list:
Helen
TxMary
Redmadder
Memaw
Linda
Jill?

I am thinking that one row each might be enough. Helen will let us know. I don't know how many rows y'all are using, I am using 5 for mine and combine ideas to use designs from everyone.  If you have the ideas and can do two....go for it. No such thing as too many ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And remember this is our Halloween RxR not our Fall one. We are doing both seasons and Holidays.

Stella, I am so not commenting on the getting lucky at Walmart comment! Shocked  lmao lmao lmao

I'm leaning toward joining you in this swap. My only hesitation is that I'm not a designer. I can follow just about any pattern, but didn't inherit any creative talent whatsoever. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow.
