Second video down on this link is about making your own basting spray. Since I know many have issues with the odor from the purchased spray, this could be an alternative. Definitely less $$ Anyone ever do this? I'm not sure it would work as well.....any opinions?

Hmmm have no idea how well it works but not at all sure I want rubbing alcohol on my quilts. I wiped down a window frame to put on a stick on hook and it took the paint off so a bit leary what it might do to fabric. When I have time I will do some googling on the subject. Would be great if it worked.......

Always in a Texas state of mind.
