Good Friends, here is a post by me from another forum.  I am willing to send material listed below free, just pay the postage to anyone on QLR.  Memaw4, not sure if you have any use for this weight for the costumes.  I am kind of doubting but want to make sure you see this.

I have been given rolls and rolls of coat weight lining material.  One roll of rip stop, that's the red and white strip pictured.  It is 45" and a couple of rolls will need 5-6 inches trimmed off from where it was stored.  I am selling for $1.00 a yard plus postage just enough to cover my time and mailing materials.  If you would like samples of anything to check it against what you need please ask, I will gladly accommodate. This is just too much and I really need to get it out of here.

Red and white stripe is no longer available.

You could try putting it on craigslist perhaps?

I have it listed on a few facebook selling forums. I am also taking it to a couple community sewing days to offer to members. Being what it is I am guessing I won't get rid of much. But i'm going to offer as many places as I can.

WooHoo. Doing the happy dance. I have only the bright blue, the pinky-beige and the red left.

A lady took 2 whole rolls today. She makes coats for women and children in a local shelter. Cheesy

Someone else took some yardage and another person took the red/white stripe for a charity project Thumbup

I am a very happy camper. And I am passing back to the original owner what a difference her generosity is making in many people's lives! Sometimes this is a good world to live in. worldhug

I think the sun would destroy it pretty quickly. Sun and rayon are not friends

OK,  I didn't know that.   I feel pretty dumb right now..... lol!

I don't make a lot of coats and when the Museum  does they buy the fabric.  Must be period correct you know!!    Their words not mine.  But I do understand.   They have been challenged on it.  Shocked
