Yah..I think you'd have to really be into Halloween..or have a party every year and do a lot of decorating before you'd want to do something so elaborate? I thought it was interesting though?
Betweens was doing a Hawaiian applique quilt that had blocks that were Halloween related. She called it her Chiller Hawaiian. I wonder if she ever got those blocks done? She had some really nice blocks!
There's a Halloween quilt on the front cover of one of the old Fons and Porter magazines. I thought "someday" I'd make that one? It has real simple applique and piecing mixed.

Quiltbrain..if you really like it you should go for it! Or..you could look up children's coloring pages online and you could make your own blocks? I really like how they used the bats in the outer border on the one I posted.
