Holey Dooley, its beautiful and TxMary, you are so right, it is just like looking down the spiral stairs to the mosaic below, how cool is that effect? Oh well done ann, your colour choices are spot on, its really beautiful and everything placed just right. bowing Do you want my addy now or when you get to the binding stage?

This was really a fun project! It was issued as a border a month..but I first saw it in November so at first I was able to just work at a steady pace until caught up. The hardest part for me was waiting for the directions each month after that. LOL
Mary..now that you mention it..I think that's a good description of how the quilt looks? I think everyone's quilt has a look of dimension in the various rounds according to what colors they chose. When I look at Linda's I get the illusion of a 3-D effect on the round where she used the yellow... and a little more depth where she's used the cooler colors. It's fun to watch it grow and I look forward to seeing what she does next. Thumbup

As I pieced this..I pretended I ran out of fabric and substituted a similar one..just like would have been done in a vintage quilt, which this is a copy of. It's not real noticeable..but gives just a little more interest to the quilt in person I think? I'll have to wait until Fall to start the quilting..and I'm anxious to get started! Here I'm wishing for Fall and we are just going into Spring! lmao :hammer:

Nope..not going to do the prairie points. I think they are fabric eaters? Undesided I thought with so much going on in the piecing they weren't needed? AND they will make the quilt even bigger? Mine finished at 90" and I know the quilting will shrink it some...but I think it's plenty big enough?

I really look forward to seeing what you do next Linda. What you have so far is gorgeous! lovehearts
