Chris - is there any way you could take a pic of them all together & post in the t-towel album - that would be neat to see.

Has anyone else finished them all?

Do you just buy the tea towels and embellish? CC, did you use flour sack towels on your recent post. We decided to all draw names this year rather than everyone buy for everyone. VERY expensive. I have DD's name and could make some tea towels. I don't know what you use though.

I used flour sack towels Joann and added the hem on the bottom on all 12 of my towels, I used the pillowcase method so there is no visible hem. Here's a good pdf file of the method. If you aren't familar.

Luvs I simply bought tea towels at kitchen stores, places like that. I know you can get some beautiful ones from nancy halvorsen her colours and such are just beautiful, here I found a link for you

Luvs - I've been doing my towels with the Nancy Halversen "art to heart" towels, or similar, which I found at LQShops. They're fine for me, because they're on a little hanger, strictly for decoration. IMHO they're buggers to iron, though! I want to do them for DD1, but I'm going to look around in kitchen stores / kitchen departments to see if there are some that look like they'll be better for "wash and wear".

Has anyone shopped on-line and found towels you like?

I got mums set finished on Monday and posted to her, its part of her xmas present. For august I did a bottle of vintage port and wine grapes, their town is the oldest wine area in the state, grapes planted there in the 1850's. I tried to make the label look like ageing barrels in a row with a sepia look

Close up of label

Nov I did cupcakes, we dont have thanksgiving in australia and nov is her birthday, I thought she would like them

Photo of her whole set. Thanks Golo, this was fun! I still have my own aug and nov to make, will post as soon as I do them

Love the extra detail on the wine label, very cute. Your set looks great, I don't remember seeing several of them. The sheep & pig is just adoorable, the cat on the wall is precious. I've been looking at a cat wallhanging this reminds me of a bit, the cupcakes are cute. I did my March towel with a cupcake for DS. They are all great!

Here is my second series for Dec.

Still need to do the Dec SBS but can't think up a good pattern. Suppose it should have a xmas tree but dread the thought of appliquing a bunch of lights & ornaments.

If you want to get around decorating a Christmas tree..you could have Sue just bringing it home..or make her an angel?
