AnnMarie..that towel is darling! You've done such cute towels incorporating SunBonnet Sue!

Gimpy..I'm happy to hear your tea towels were a hit! They were all so wonderful. Smitten
I'll bet your Mum will think of you each month as she puts out her new towel..and know that you loved her enough to make them? Smitten

I don't know if this company ships to you but Qbee turned me on to this site, I've ordered three from them.

DD is having me make a valance for her kitchen. I am thinking of trying to wash the decorator fabric a couple times to soften it up and make teas towels with it. They would then match the kitchen. I think she'd like that.

Luvs - good idea! I'm planning/hoping to make a tea towel a month for my DD1. They recently moved to a new house and she has bits or orange for an accent color in her kitchen. I've picked up some orange towels (kind of a soft orange, that is) - so I'm ready to start as soon as I can get back to sewing time!!

That's a great idea Joann! Thumbup
My DIL chose orange to paint the kitchen. She's had a heck of a hard time finding towels/pot holders to match.
