Makes us sad too but they will displace the local lorikeet and parrot species that live in Tasmania. Some are endangered and are so in need of safe nesting places and habitats. The rainbow lorikeets are bullies and dominant, I guess its not their turf

Makes sense, but sometimes I feel that government bullies are really awful. There are several species of parrots which have escaped captivity and live on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco. The people who have assisted them are being charged!

The planet is changing, I wonder how many species are on the move to more habitable climates, like the rainbow lorikeets?
