Mamu I didnt think to measure it Undesided hmmmm I cut 6 strips for binding and had left over so obviously its over the fabric width of say 42, Id say off the top of my head its about 46" square.

Oh and right as I was about to tape it up I had a brainwave and pulled up the Arthur Murray dance studio logo and printed it off, tucked it into the quilt, that way when they find that then open the quilt they will recognise the dancers in the centre. Oh I was so looking forward to giving it to them tonight, now I have to wait to sunday

Linda your quilt is looking fantastic, the purple really shines and looks fantastic, well done!!! clap clap

My parents loved their red delicous, they opened it and found the piece of paper with the dance logo on it and were curious then opened the quilt and well, they seemed thrilled. They didnt put it up on the wall for a few days, they had it in the lounge and would touch and look at the blocks. Its now hanging on a lime/apple green wall in their hallway and I of course forgot to take a photo of it, the red really glows on the green. Its got a good home

Golo,
I did get the borders on and started to quilt it but didn't like it so
I had to remove the borders and pick it out. Just found the border
fabric I need to replace what I removed. So hopefully I'll get to workonit soon.

Gimpy,
I cut the borders off and had to search for new border fabric, but I ran into some of the same fabric I used the first time and need to put it on again. I only unpicked the sashings I had quilted before I decided it looked like *&%$#. I don't have that kind of patience! azn
