Golo, Polly,
I started making my templates for the first 2 blocks.
I have picked my fabric, it is a different color. I'll
let that be a surpise until I finish the first block.
I must say after seeing both of yours I'm a little
intimidated to say the least! If mine come out half
as good I will be pleased!

they have lots of little pieces thats for sure, teeny to cut and teeny to sew, you could cheat with a lot of htem and most likely either draw the lines/shapes in pigment pen or perhaps embroider them

What an interesting idea, Gimpy... Might make it less intimidating to those who are not confident in their skills (or patience level... ).

The patterns are saved to my puter but I still haven't started, other than gathering fabrics. After the 5th (of January, not whisky) I'm hoping to work on something for ME... !

Pookie, I am not doing needleturn......life's too short!!! I fused the pieces then machine appliqued. And its not hard at all, just remember to label the pieces right and left, as I found out a couple of times!

She says its suitable as fusible, needleturn or for embroidery (suggests redwork)
