I have always admired Moon Glow by Jinny Beyer but didn't think I was good enuf to justify the cost of the pattern. Now it is FREE at http://rjrfabrics.com

WARNING: The PDF is 86 pages. Best to right click & "save as target" instead of download.

Here's the INTRODUCTION
This Jinny Beyer block-of-the-month quilt has been designed as a patchwork course for intermediate to advanced level quilters. The blocks each month have been geared to teach a variety of basic skills and become more advanced as the months progress. Quilters will build on the knowledge and skills they learn from each block until even the seemingly more complex patterns become easy to assemble. Included in the techniques that participants learn are rotary cutting, strip
piecing, joining four corners, joining eight corners, paper piecing, setting in, working with curves and much more. The blocks for this quilt can be constructed using a variety of the following methods of construction: hand piecing, machine piecing, piecing with freezer paper templates, or piecing onto a foundation. The fabrics used in Moon Glow are all from the Quilters Palette by Jinny Beyer for RJR Fashion Fabrics. The shading of the colors produces a “moon glow” that gives the
quilt a rich quality. Each of the compasses is named after one of the seas of the moon.

This could have been posted and I missed it, but found this a great little quilt for a baby shower. I nerd to make something like this rather than the difficult, time consuming ones I seem to choose all the time.

AnnMarie, in the site you mentioned, I loved Moon Glow also. She had quit a few I liked: Navajo Winter, Sophia and Northern Lights. Now I would do that one in the colors of Moon Glow if I was doing it. But I love purples and blues. And Moon Glow has all the right colors for the Northern Lights pattern. JMO.

Moonglow was wonderful to do. We have it hanging in DH's study. I made it for him. It gives such a warm and cozy feeling to a room. We love it.
