Golo.....I love your journal. What a great idea you had to use the birthdays. February is well known as a bit of a dull month (here in England espeically) so its nice to see some bright colours :D

And good news.....Gimpy has asked if she can join us with the quilt journals.......YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS you are more than welcome :D :D

Thank you for letting me join, I thought perhaps it wasnt too late and well, I got this crazy idea that I could add another project to the year so far and my mother, well she encouraged me in it, shame on her LOL. Yesterday I drafted, cut and assembled jan and febs, today I will stitch them down then take pics, Ihad fun and bob loves them so I must have done ok, I had no idea whta to do, they kind of took their own life and told me what to make - now that does sound crazy LOL Most of my stuff gets done like that, I dont have a firm idea, I sit start drawing or sewing and it tells me how it wants to be

Ok I got busy and finished them today. Here is Januarys block, its to remind me of how much of hte summer month we spent at Cradle Mountain, thats Dove Lake in the foreground, we were there on New Years Day and camping there on the last 3 days of the month :-)

Here is Febuarys block, we spent three weekends this month planting autumn trees, maples, poplars, black walnut, chinese pistachio and sweet gum (Liquid Amber) creating our fall colour garden. The skies have changed already, no more plain blue but filled instead with fluffy clouds heralding the onset of autumn. So the empty pot and the baby tree that is just starting to turn is my block

Gimpy they are just gorgeous, like pictures from a diary. I love the leaves on the tree :)

I am late with mine as I was a tad too ambitious and the journal page for Feb has been abandoned for now. I have started a new one and it will be on here before midnight.........thats English time, if its still not ready then I will have to go to US lmao

Here is my February quilt journal. It is not finished yet....I thought I could do it but I kept getting distracted. I wanted to make the journal about the weather here in England this month but I kept thinking about the terrible fires in Australia so I tried to include both. I will post another picture when its completely finished
