Hi everybody,
Well, I finally got the first 3 Journals done. I think this was a little difficult for me because January is "In Memory of Butch" my 12 yr companion. I rescued him the year I retired when he was 8 wks old and he was at my heel until the last minute of his life. I can just now talk about him a little without crying(well almost).

Feb - We took our oldest granddaughter(8) to Disneyland and to show her the ocean for the first time. We had a great time!

Mar - St. Patricks Day and my sisters birthday.

I saw a segment on Martha Stewart using gel medium to die paper, it can also be used to die fabric. Looked messy and fun. I'm starting to get very interested/tempted to try it. Just can't justify the dollars ....yet!!
Also saw a segment on Quilting Arts awhile back where they were marbelizing fabric using shaving cream which looked easy and fun.
It appears that you have used the gel medium to give a shine to your project, The gel i'm speaking of is called methyl cellulose, is it the same stuff you used?
I'm enjoying seeing your projects I love this months addition, the tree has a real etherial quality to it. Very nice!!
