See these are all good questions .... we can do whatever the majority wants to do... I think this should be scrappy or what we have on hand.. Its always nice to use up the stash. Should we aim for March as a final date for return... Would like to start it in Jan. and give everyone a couple of months to make them and send them in... Let me hear from you ... I will host it but the decisions are for everyone to make.....Lets get the poll going and see what everyone wants to make ...

I'd really like to do the Tattered Garden in honor of Merrybee. MBee and I had chatted about getting this swap going this fall, but we never had a chance to get it going. We liked the idea of using softer colors - like the more pastel '30s prints. I like the idea of scrappy and using what we have, but maybe we could specify somewhat and stay away from brights and darks?

Tattered Garden with 30's is fine with me. I have some of those in my stash and wouldn't have to buy a whole lot. Maybe Merry Bee's Girl might want to join us.

Oh dear Undesided I don't have any 30's type fabs at all.....nor do I have too many pastel colors as I am into more bright/royal colors. I had made a 30's quilt and only had enough fab to do that quilt. I don't even think my LQS stocks any 30's fabs. scratch Maybe we should do another poll on what type of colors/fabs we all want to use for this????

I love the tattered garden! I love the 30's too. Wouldn't have to go shopping, but would have to clean because I can't find those fabs! lmao

I'm in. We still have to decide if we're doing the 12" or 10"...and if there is a specific background fabric?
