PK... either way is okay.. I used a twin needle... others just used one and sewed twice around... and some only sew once around on their leaves... whatever works for you...

Kris - I sewed twice around my leaves with green thread (so if I didn't stay right on the line the second time around it didn't show so much!) (camouflage the imperfections, I say!) I personally had trouble turning at the point to go up the other side of the leaf when I tried the double needle. . . though Golo and others managed that just fine! scratch

Okay! I liked the look of the twin needle and white thread on the test block but others probably not so much. I will go with twice around in green thread. I think that makes better sense anyhow.

I must say I'm so happy that I learned about using the double needle for the flowers, though! Wish I could go back and do-over the circles we did for the bullseye swap. And Chris has done some fun embroidery stitches with the twin needle which I'm looking forward to giving a try. Even though I learn a lot from all my magazines and books, I can't imagine getting along without all I learn from my friends here!!

whew That is a worry off my mind. Are they okay? Will they go well with the others? Last time, my blocks were really bold and seemed to not play very well with the other blocks. I hate to make that mistake.
