Anytime you want to send them on to me. I take them when I can get them. I do have just a few recipes that were sent in. DH has been up grading my computer for me and I now am using Win7...somewhat different than before. I must admit I have been play around with that more that anything else.

Well yes we are, although I only have 4, yes only FOUR recipes that were submitted to the QCC and they look yummy too!...so I will wait just a little longer before saying that is the end...of this issue. We have had new members since we started this so I am updating the first page of the first issue and will be sending that out also.

So, if any of you have anything they would like to be put into this issue of QCC please send them in.

Okay, okay, don't leave without me!

Last night I dug through all of the emails I've sent to you, Schnookie, to find out what I've sent already. Now that I know, I can send another recipe or two for this chapter.

But the recipe(s) are in there and I'm in here and I haven't even had my first sip of coffee but at least I'm dressed (that's unusual for a day off!).

Oh poo, I will have to put off the QCC issue until I get back. I am sorry about that, but then it gives you more time to find a recipe if you wish to submit to the QCC... Very Happy

Ohhh round waffles, cool, I have only ever seen square ones but they look kinda like cardboard - waffles in general that is, are they crunchy or soft to chew? In australia people like english muffins or crumpets

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crumpet

personally I dont eat crumpets, they are like chewing on a kitchen sponge I reckon, not that I have chewed a kitchen sponge! Laura and bob love them though and they soak up all the butter and jam or honey

Lost most of my file on this subject and went to a real cool sight that Gimpy gave me but still came up short on the conversions to these.

1 cup powered (confectionersí sugar) ? ounces ?grams

1 cup cocoa powder ? ounces ?grams

I am almost ready to be sending out the new copy of the QCC but wanted to up date the conversion chart also. So if you know the answer please let me know...pretty please...thank you!

http://www.traditionaloven.com/conversions_of_measures/sugar_amounts.html

oh man this site is so good, you choose the type of sugar for instance, put in quantity say 1 american cup and then choose what to convert it to

1 cup american of confectioners sugar/icing sugar/pwd sugar = 125g or 4.4oz

I found this for cocoa

Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
Cups to Grams
1/8 cup=15 grams
1/4 cup=30 grams
1/3 cup=40 grams
3/8 cup=45 grams
1/2 cup=60 grams
5/8 cup=70 grams
2/3 cup=75 grams
3/4 cup=85 grams
7/8 cup=100 grams
1 cup=125 grams

Oh and dont blame me its all Schnookies fault but I came across this dangerous dangerous site when looking for the cocoa conversions, look at your own peril!!
