Insufferablebratt did a great tutorial on how to post pictures. I locked the topic so that it would get lost with a ton of posts.
You can post questions here!

I have found that if I try to post photos that I posted on the other site..they won't post. It says the photo is too large or the file is corrupted. I don't know how to post from my flickr site. It doesn't work the same as it does when you want to pop a photo into a thread. It seems I can only take pics from my desktop site in the gallery?

Well..as far as I can see you still can't import a photo into the gallery from your website like Webshots, Flickr, or Photobucket...etc? I was having problems getting photos to post from my desk top too. On some photos I got a message that the photo was too large or the file was corrupted. When I checked the size it appeared to be OK. Barb did some sleuthing and found that if your photo resolution is too high it won't post. In my case all of my photos are at the default setting on the computer..300. It needed to be changed down to between 75-50 to work. Unfortunately each photo has to be changed individually. In my computer I had to open the photo with Microsoft Photo Editor(that's what I always use)..then once open click on file..when that dropped down..I went to properties and a box came up where I could change the resolution. If you all know this stuff..sorry for the rambling..but this was all new to me! Barb told me my DPI was too big. Hmmm....I don't know if that was an insult or not? Undesided lol!

I am wondering if there is a way to change the titles of your pictures once posted to your gallery. It seems that I have lower case on a couple of pictures and the wrong name on another. Am I able to change this or do I have to reload a picture and delete the other?
Any help very much appreciated.

schnookie you should be able to edit your album, down the bottom left hand corner when your album is open or along the bottom is there a place to edit/moderate your album?

To edit your pictures:
Click on Gallery>>Your personal Album (in the lower left corner). Click on the picture you wish to edit. Just above the picture should be a drop down menu with the words "Original picture" in the box. Click the little drop down arrow. This should give you several options, one of which is "edit". You should be able to make your changes there. Be sure to click "Save" when you are done.

I went to the gallery to post my latest flimsey, but there was no room. How do I erase the old stuff?

I figured it out. I was trying through "actions" instead of "edit".

I think you will find a button called 'moderation' at the bottom of your album, that lets you edit it. I added some credits to the gallery to increase space, need to add some time credits too but the option isnt working so Im following that up, you shouldnt have any problem though uploading pics now
