Seems like I remember talking to Tumbleweed in the Chat Room on QS and she is the one from Nebraska. Tammy you were in there too, do you remember? I do not see her on either member list. Did she get lost in the shuffle? Gimpy, do you have her email????

Yep, I'm the one from Nebraska. My package arrived a couple of days quicker than I expected. That makes me happy.

That is how I feel sometimes, so I thought it would be perfect. Oh, I am one who wanted the blocks signed and you know what......didn't do mine.
I did put return address labels on them. Sent late so was in hurry.
Went through my fat quarters and picked out two for you. How many were we to send you? Anyhow, I thought you might like them both and tried to find something in the theme you requested.

SSAlva.. oh SSAlva.. your package came today.. the only way I knew was from Alva Florida.. you are right!! Sept 12 was the post mark.. it may have been because of Ike that things were a little backed up.. but have no fear.. your package is here!!

Well we are doing pretty good.. I have an email from one of the members that her machine had a trauma.. (everyone bow their heads for a moment of silence)...
Okay and it is currently in the "hospital" she has half her blocks done but needs to finish them so we are going to be a little late.
That is okay I have a couple that I still need to get then with opening these lovely wonderful bulky packages that wave at me everytime I walk through my door.. (I will take a pic so you can see what I look at) I will have to organize them and then I have a special something that will go in each one.. so thanks to those that have sent them.. to those that are just about.. hurray up!! I am sure you are just as giddy as I am on what we get back!!

    clap

Yes, it is me Marian that is from Windham, Ohio and Gwennie who is from Mantua, Ohio. Glad they arrived. Looking forward to seeing everyone's blocks. I enclosed a check with my blocks to cover the return postage for mine and Gwennie's and some extra to help with Mary's quilt as well.

Betweens, you are doing a super job keeping everything organized! mailbox I'm not a bit worried about the delay and I doubt anyone else is either. How frustrating that must be to have your beloved sewing machine konk out at a time like this! Is there ever a good time! NO! I hope it makes a quick recovery. Thumbup

I got Wlrquilts today... hmmm I have to get a bigger basket maybe..

Linda2B thanks for your wonderful kind words.. I am so happy that this had become a great success.. I went from buying the fabric to do a swap.. then the swap slowly diminshed due to unforseen circumstances.. to 30 wonderful friends joining in to make a dream a reality..

What more can a quilter ask for... notta.. nothing.. she has it all here.. thanks again..

Just a few more to go.. this is fantastic!!

Thanks for all your donations.. I will open the packages and then send messages of thanks..

Deb

Then again, the weather. They no longer deliver during rain, sleet or snow.
They really got to change that add... scratch

Oooo, Betweens just looked into your Blog and all I can say is WOW! Your star quilt is looking good Girl! And the class sampler is wonderful!!! Checked out the cock-A-Doodle Quilt shop/blog and the students pictures are great! Another great class it looks like, sure wish I lived up there so to be able to take one of your class's. Nice job teacher, very nice job.

Oh I am so very excited about the Nine patches the list is filling up with green and I am on the edge of my seat to see it all green soon. Oh boy we are almost there!

Hugs to all,
Schnookie

Not to worry AQM9, it seemed like mine took forever and then one day wow it was there. I really was getting worried but as I have been told before, that it takes sometime to get to Canada...don't know why maybe it is because it must go through customs?
