Have you not gotten the ones I sent you yet? I sent them over a week & half ago. I'm beginning to wonder about your postal service.

Karin - Don't think I've seen them yet. DH has a habit of leaving the mail in his truck, so they could be there.

TLC - I haven't counted, but will after the weekend. :D

I have next week off, so will clean my sewing space and get things going for the new year. ;)

Oh, how very exciting, are you going to make one or two quilts out of them? Looks like you will have lots to play with! :D

Just one quilt I think. There is a nine patch quilt in an issue of American Patchwork and Quilting that I am going to do.

Yes Schnookie. That's the one. I might make it bigger, since I still have squares cut to make more 9 patches.

http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/projects-ideas/table-toppers-runners/uneven-nine-patch_2.html

found it on their site. How many stars will you be putting in it do you think. I just love stars.
That quilt is so very cute, cannot wait to see yours. I still have not decided what to do with mine yet. I guess I could start making more nine patches to go along with mine also...humm I wonder if I put that on my to do list yet? doh

Schnookie - I will probably make more stars than the pattern called for - just because I really like stars. And three didn't seem like that many.

Here is the schoolhouse block swap of 2007 I think these were from the Yahoo group that we belonged to..sorry can`t remember the name I still have the boarders to put on.. but got excited and had to share

Now that I look at the picture..no I don`t have floating iron and all the blocks are together with the logs.. I am going to call Friends around the Block also I was able to put 16 blocks on the quilt not the 12 showing.. so i better post an up to date version..

Barb I couldn`t believe it had been that long since we had done these gorgeous blocks and I have been procratinating this long!! they are all so beautiful...and some of the people we don`t even hear from anymore. I feel very lucky to have been in this swap...

I am trying to make quilts out of the swaps that I have waiting here. there are a few that I have done and want get quilts made with them so that when they are done I can join some new ones.. I am thinking the snow globes are going to be next with the christmas squares we had swapped.
