I have thousands of design files, many of my own creation. Last week I backed them all up.

I have quite a few patterns/magazines. I have thinned down here and there but I still enjoy looking through my books for inspiration so have no plans to purge them right now.

Years ago, I was given boxes of quilting magazines. I went through them and transferred the patterns I liked to QuiltPro files, so they are readily accessible and don't take up space in my sewing area. I am fortunate to be able to look at Quilt designs and make them without bothering with directions.

Marynel, I wish I could do that too, but I need to follow the directions doh ! Even then sometimes I have to ask somebody about it once in a while!

Finished 2 wall quilts for my 2 sisters. The bears were a request & finishes at 21x30. Saw a picture something like that awhile back so tried to reproduce it. The snowmen was my Jan. PhD so sent that to my other sister. Had made one of those for myself many years ago.

I laughed at baby bear with tongue out. That's cute! I like the snowmen too.

I like both quilts, as I am sure your sisters will. The bears are especially suitable for Lake Tahoe.
