CC, I really hope it can hold its own next to Lou's beautiful apron! I am glad you like it. Thank you for your compliments. I appreciate any vote of confidence I can get! Of course, I really hope that one of the forum teams win! That would be great! Wouldn't that be the best bragging rights? "Yep! The winning team is on OUR forum!" winking

Yes, they are, Mary Ann. I seem to cry them a lot myself. I will be asking for your addy (I cannot find it) when the contest is through. You are forewarned! HA HA HA Twisted Evil

I am sorry, Gimpy. I already promised the apron to QB. But thank you for the sweet comments. I really am happy that someone, other than myself, likes the apron.

Hummer, I wanted the applique flowers to hide the non-Ohio-State-birds. All of those birds live here but the cardinal is the state bird... and the scarlet carnation is the state flower. I also thought that the pocket needed something... anything... and the apron without it did not really say "Ohio". So I made it say "Ohio", literally. azn I was hoping it wasn't over the top. Is it? Embarassed

Princess Kris you need to have more confidence in yourself, every word you post on here shows us all what a caring, kind and generous woman you are. I think you should stop spending time worrying and use that time to give your kids an extra cuddle or make more aprons!!! Seriously, you dont realise just how special a lady you are, its hard to have confidence in yourself but its one of the most precious things you can give yourself Hug
Anytime you are unsure or feeling a little hurt just let us know, we are your friends and we will rally round, defend you and shower you in hugs, anytime............

While racking my brain trying to figure out where I could 'borrow' a dressmaker's form to take a picture, it occurred to me (just this morning) that tomorrow I'm going to see TWO of my skinny friends! (Yes, I can count number of skinny friends on one hand :affraid: ) So tomorrow between show and tell, potlucking and handwork, I'll be cajoling and bribing my friends into modelling for the photo shoot! lmao

I had to redo our album... instead of doing one album I had four albums now I have it all combined into one... Just go there and click on Tracy's lovely apron to open the album and you can vote on each one if you like... thanks gals... I guess this is always a learning experience.... scratch

Golo - Oh, thank you, thank you! I've been running 10 ways to Sunday and hadn't gotten a chance to look at trying to combine the albums - and you did it! bowing

For everyone else, please give Golo a big clap - I could not no way no how get the pictures to upload at all and she stepped in and got them all uploaded - and now fixed! Woo-hoo!

I think voting begins on the 15th... I'll be sure to write a blog post so my 9 readers coolsmiley will be reminded to vote!!

I went and looked..and the rules say they are going to judge the aprons then put up 10 for people to vote on. As of right now..I don't see that narrowed down list? They sure got a nice number of participants. Thumbup

You need to have an account with them (free) which I have had for awhile. Then you need to register to vote.
