Oh its beautiful Linda, what stitch did you use on the berries, they good great! I so enjoy seeing your version of the blocks. Always makes me think I ought to get mine out and perhaps at least cut the sashing for them..........................Im bad, I need to sew

blackberries - they were introduced to the state as a food source back in the 1800s and grow wild everywhere, start ripening in january :-) I like yours, they look so pretty

Gimpy here's a little teaser for you!
This is the American version for October. I made a pillow cover out of it. I put the
Aussie version in the quilt with all the other aussie blocks. It's done but needs to be
quilted and bound before I post a pic.

Oh Linda that looks so pretty, I love your sashing fabrics, mmmm the orange and red are beautiful and the green with its pattern is like a splash of confetti. I really like it, you are doing such a beautiful job. I recently found one of the blocks I did an applique version of, the one with the quoll and I have it out to finish stitching, just the quoll and snow need to be sewn down by hand and its done, was thinking of a pillow too but will have to up my standard now I have seen yours!
