I have a question, I created a personal album and loaded it up . Now when I go into gallery I don't find it, is that because I need to do something to have it come " live" or maybe it is moderated?

Thank you for any suggestions
I followed your instructions without knowing it and then when I was snooping I referred to them and it appears as if I did everything correctly

Thanks so much they suddenly appeared!
I have only been FMQ for the past year, never tried it before but I managed to purchase a frame that someone bought and stored. It is a simple table top but I love it and it loves me, so far!

Took a picture with my Ipad of a quilt. Can't load it from the Ipad to the gallery...the gallery won't accept it. Tried emailing it to my laptop, but get the error message that it's corrupted or too large. Read about lowering resolution, but can't figure how to do that in the Window's live photo gallery that opens up pics on my lap top....any one got an idea how to get it on?

TMM with my photos, if I edit them at all in any way the gallery won't accept them. They have to go on the same as they come off my camera. Don't have this problem with any other group or site that I am on.,just this one Guess that isn't your problem though .

The resolution would be the pixel size and most programs allow for that, I also have used MS Paint as well as Picasa to reduce pics. The other member was having trouble with her windows live program so we hope she is successful in her efforts, I also hope she lets us know how she does so that we can all learn...You never know someone will ask me that very question and I hope that I have the correct answer.

Using a IPhone I would imagine picasa or a photo editing program such as iphoto.. Simple resize is a program for iphone or ipad to find it go to the App store , search for simple resize it is a free download.
My hubby has an iphone and ipad and just showed it to me, it is easy to work it has a slide rule to reduce the size of the pics. Now wonder if HE will ever let me play with his I phone/ipad. I am having way too much fun with the other three computers. But at least I have my own tech guy so I don't have to worry about those geek calls for help.

HAHA

PostSubject: Loading in Photo Album   Creating your album and posting pictures to it EmptyTue Sep 30, 2014 5:04 pm

Okay, I've uploaded photo to my personal album and they're all there.

When I click on other members' album, all their photo show up as thumbprint pics and when you click on them you see larger version.

My album doesn't display the same. I've tried shorting by posted, image, view but nothing changes as to how they appear in my album.

When I click on my album, it oversizes and I can't see to the opposite size.

Perhaps if someone could check my album out and tell me what I'm doing wrong - kinda hard to explain. angry

I just checked your album I think that the server is having problems because my album is acting the same way suddenly. Used to be ok, and now I see a few that look wonky, Let's check tomorrow again and see if we have better luck. It is not us it is a site problem I am sure. At least we are in good company!

Hi Dragonfly, again, welcome the forum, Im so thrilled you are joining us and making yourself at home and asking questions - we are happy to help. Ive looked at your album, at the moment the thumbnail images arent showing for me but when I go into your album I can see everything fine (you make some lovely quilts!) when I click on the thumbnails they open to an image that is just the right size. I suspect that the issue will sort itself out soon, you joined us right as the company I use to host the forum are changing to new servers and a new data centre, there are quite a few glitches around the forums at the moment and I suspect the gallery is effected. Keep an eye on it over the next couple of days and if it doesnt change remind me and we will see what we can work out or do. Oh and there is no way to assign one picture as your album cover, as Lowjane said, it shows the latest image added, sorry. Oh and please, do remind me, I have an atrocious memory and I rely on my friends to nag me, I hate forgetting things and want to help, so, remind me please! Thumbup
