| A lot of people have been asking me about my smileys that I am using. I just accidentally discovered that my smiley central will work on this forum. I have it downloaded on my internet page. There is a tool box that says smiley central and I just click on that and use the smileys. I works for me , don't know if it will work for the rest of you.... Bearfoot any insite on this...Qbee says she has smiley central and it isn't working for her. I thought maybe it was a block on her computer or something. Dont have a clue on this do you..... | |

| I'm editing out my previous post and changing this to "never mind"! I don't want to ask anyone to waste their time trying to figure out why I can't post Smileys from SmileyCentral.com. Thanks, anyhow! Have a good day friends!

| I don't know why it works for me.... It didn't on the other forum got the same message you do here...are your tool bars locked? Go look. Right click on the tool bar and a drop down box should appear. Then you can check your tool bars. If that doesn't work guess you will have to be green with envy..... Just kidding...OR use these http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys-hug-001.php | |

Oops! Smiley Central is most commonly used to insert smileys into instant messages and emails. However, to do so must be using your webamil or IM application at the time you click on a smiley. You can paste the smiley's HTML into a webpage text field (i.e. social networking sites like MySpace, Xanga, etc).
If I try pasting the HTML code this is what happens: <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZSYYYYYYPBUS%2526i%253D3%252F3%255F8%255F2%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_8_2.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D3%252F3_8_2%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a> QBee, is this a run-over from another thread? Is there a question here, or are you good (smiley-wise, at least)? _________________ Perfection is the enemy of progress

| My anti-spyware will not let me download 'smiley central'. They consider it 'malicious spyware'. I was able to get into the 'free smileys' link. Thanks Tammy! | |

| Tracy - Most of my message is showing what happened when I tried to put a smiley from SmileyCentral.com into a post here. SmileyCentral gives me that "Oops..." message. Then if I try to paste the SmileyCentral HTML code for the smiley I want to use, the code shows up - not the smiley. But I just changed my 1st message here. I don't want to ask anyone to waste her time figuring out why I can't post Smileys! I promise I won't even be envious of TLC and her success! | |

| I had to open the Smiley Central from the tool bar Find the smiley I wanted, click and drag to the reply box The screen will change to just the smiley with a url visable in the bar at the top Highlight and Copy the url (Ctrl+C) Click the Back arrow to go back to the reply box Click the Image button Paste (Ctrl+V) the copied url in the box Click ok
I don't know why you would want to do this when you can use http://smileys.on-my-web.com/much much easier!
