| Thanks for posting the link again. Great tut, the instructions sounds easy enough to follow.
So question here, is it always better to use a bias binding cut or when is it better to use a on the grain binding? Do you always use a double folded binding, if not, when would you use a single fold? | |

| I always used folded binding. Just like in that tut. I use one grain unless there are curved edges on the quilt or a striped fabric for the binding that I want on the diagonal. | |

| Look what I found it's the tut on youTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU9oqEL09XU&feature=related This helped me see what is happening, the ladies are fun to listen to also...there are two videos to it. Bias Binding Demo #1 then #2 Oh this is how I am going to cut binding from now on...Thank you Luv's so much for showing me !! | |

| I use single fold binding cut on the straight grain..unless I'm doing curved or scalloped edges, then I use bias cut. I don't do double fold because I figure if one layer wears through..it's time for new binding? I won't leave the quilt with a worn through edge. It takes less fabric too! |
