| Does anyone have one? We just got one and I havent had a chance to search or google to find out but - what do you clean the screen with? The screen must get mighty dirty with being touched so I was wondering what it will need to be cleaned with? For now, the keyboard adn mouse works just fine! _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| Aren't there instrustions with it? My regular laptop came with directions to just clean it with warm water, no glass cleaner or whatever. | |

| So far the only comments I found were to clean the keyboard, mouse and surface where speakers are etc with a damp cloth. Traditionally screens needed special treatment, the whole touch screen no keyboard needed idea just has me wondering what specific cleaning instructions there would be, seems there should be something doesnt it? Think I'll stick to the old fashioned keyboard LOL Mind you it sure is nice not to have an old clunking box hard drive on the floor under the desk, having it all in one unit, with just the monitor being it is great _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| I used to vacume the hard drive (tower) on the one before, they get so much dust and fur sucked into the vents. This one is wonderful, only thing on the floor under the table now is the bass speaker and pwr box!! _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| I love my newish computer. The whole body and screen are about 4" thick. I am not as fond of the touch screen, possibly because I often have grubby hands, but I like being able to enlarge script by touching and spreading my fingers.
My instructions said warm water on soft cloth for cleaning. | |

| Henny penny you can get plug in usb port hubs, its like a usb power board, lots of outlets and you just plug it into one of your usb ports on your computer _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| Thanks Gimpy . Never heard of them . Wonder do they work well. I find on my PC that the ports are all different. Some things work on some and not on others...for instance I have an Apple iPod Shuffle and it will only work on one of my six ports . Printer is the same , will only work on one particular port. These ports are fine for other things though |

| Several years ago I'm pretty sure I burned up a mother board on a standardd PC due to dust build up. It was in a crowded spot on the floor and I found it had a layer of dust over the vent holes. Won't make that mistake again. We now open the housing and dust out the fan on the standard PC. On my laptop its so difficult to remove the housing that I took it in for service and the guy just blew out the vent. I was shocked and asked if this just pushes the dirt into the motherboard and he said its in an enclosed area and the dust won't travel. So now I blow it out with canned air. | |

| I never knew you had to do that Chris until I had a tech guy come to the house last year for a problem. After he fixed it he said he could hear the fan labouring [ which I could too ] and told me to take the back off and vacum out the dust. I was horrified at how much there was around the fan . It had taken 7 years to get there though ! Should do it again I suppose How would you get on with the one piece units for this ? |
