| Call me crazy, but I'm thinking of next year (2011) Christmas. I'm thinking of taking flour sack towels and cutting off the hem. Then putting a quilting fabric binding on the edges and embroidering something on each. Nice gift??? I'm not sure. | |

| Dont think your crazy at all, should we start an idea thread for xmas next year for gifts?
Your idea sounds good, to save some time perhaps you could simply sew a band of fabric across the bottom to enhance the embroidery you do on them? Just a thought

| My guild sisters all did tea towels with Seminole piecing detail strips the year I began quilting. Now that I am more self assured, I may try one of those. | |
