Golo asked for some more hints on her rotary cutting thread....found two good ones in the Feb. '11 issue of Quilting.

1. Marking Tulle....Take a piece of tulle that is larger than your quilting pattern and place it in a hoop that's appx. the same size as the pattern. Place the hoop face down over the design and trace it with a permanant marker. AFTER THE MARKER DRIES position the hoop facedown on your quilt top. Trace the design again, using a water wash marker or chalk.

2. Freezer Paper fix.... Instead of tracing printable patterns onto freezer paper, print them. To do it without the paper slipping or jamming, cut freezer paper to 8 1/2 " by 11"; place it shiny side down on an 8 /12" by 11" piece of copy paper. Iron 1/4 inch along the edge that will feed first into your printer to seal the papers together.

Sounds interesting.....by the time you do that, seems you could trace it, unless it's fairly complex.

I like the tulle tip. That might work for me on a project I need to finish after the first of the year.
