oh my goodness those sewing rooms must be in mansions they are ginormous!! and i don`t feel so guilty with all that I have...I have nothing compared to most of these ladies

Well betweens don't feel bad because I don't either! But I'd sure love too. I didn't see all of them so I'm going back to finish looking. It did give me some good ideas though.

I went back into it today and finished looking at all the sewingrooms and my some of those rooms are simply to die for girls! I have a wonderful hubby and we're not in the poor house yet, but we do have to watch our money. But some of those women must not have that problem!

There was one lady on there who had something like 6 different machines. I can't even begin to imagine that. And her room looked more like a small house! Well, I guess we can dream. Far as I know it's still free! Of course come January 1 you might be taxed for it...... haha

If I offended anyone with this remark, my deepest apoligies. I didn't mean too.

TMM you'll really enjoy them. I downloaded a couple of patterns from Redrooster. They had 6 of Jennifer Cheverinne! I've read all of her books and just love her quilts.

That is a good one. I looked at the sewing studio pictures and started drooling.

that was really interesting.... so are they saying that copyright laws aren't legal... that a quilter can sell her quilts made from a pattern at profit??? or copy a pattern and pass it on????

Sounds golo like that is just exactly what they're saying. I always wondered why after buying a pattern, why you couldn't make it and sell the product at a profit. I mean why sell a pattern if you can't make it and then sell your item in craft shows. What do they thing craft shows are made up of?

I've often had ladies buy a pattern and fabric and have me make them the item and of course I was paid well for doing it. Was that wrong according to the law? If so, then I need to go to jail.

Wonder if they'll let me take my machines? ha ha

Seems like what it is saying is that they can only copyrite the pattern itself , that they can't copyrite what you make with it. I always thought [ although designers will argue black and blue ] that once you pay for it you own what you do with it. I can understand that you can't copy the pattern itself and sell it ...but your handiwork ???? The same with you can't sell anything made with " liscenced " fabric .
