| TMM, that's just why when I bought my fabric a couple of weeks ago from Connecting Threads I bought 1-10" charm pack! I'm going to try this and add to the squares and make a lap quilt. Pinwheel of course! I also bought 5-5" charm packs! They were only $2.28 per pack! How could I resist? I plan to make a patch work quilt with those and just tie it. Nothing fancy. |

| TXmm that is my next project.... the one I just made was the disappearing 9 patch.... sew nine charms together and cut down and across the middle ... then twist and turn putting them pack together... I love these new ideas... | |

| You know I was just thinking about this way of doing the HST and it occured to me, if you laid the two charm squares right sides together, then stitched 1/4" down two opposite sides and cut down the middle you'd have fast units like Anita called Piano keys, pairs of 2 1/2" strips sewed together. Would be faster than the labourious cutting and then matching up then stitching I did on the fall panel last week _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon
