Thanks quiltnut.. I have seen that one before they have some great patterns.. I wish I were an octupus so that I can have eight arms one to quilt, one to do redwork, one to knit..one to pet my animals one to cook.. and so on

I love redwork as well... and I have one that I have to finish so these came in handy I was looking for a little sprig to put in my baskets and some of the patterns give just enough.

yes quiltnut.. sometimes these UFO's are waiting for the right thing to come along.. sometimes it pays to "not" finish cause you are waiting for that special pattern/fabric/quilting motif to finish it off.. if you are in to much of a hurry you are not wow'd but mediocered.. I like to be wow'd by my ingenuity.. cause lots of times we don't know we have it until it is on our design wall.. and say.. did I do that!! WOOOOWWWWWW

Sometimes when working on a quilt you Want to use what you have , BUT when you audition the fabric it is OK but just not the WOW factor you want....that is when I got to the LQS... isn't is strange out of ALL the STASH we have never have that particular fabric we NEED.... Undesided 😁

Have you discovered certain sales people in the fabric stores who can understand you and help you better than others? They are almost like hair stylists in their individual tastes and talents. I always look around for a certain lady when I go because her taste is similar to mine and she won't stop until we have found the right border, or accent color. :1245: Sometimes I get on line and find what I need... :smiley6600:

Yes Merrybee, I do that too.....but lately I have been just getting out the bolts and doing it myself...
Sometimes there is a new sales person, and give them a try...but I usually like to have, " my main lady in fabric....." :1245:

Remember... you need to think outside your own box once and awhile and get something that is NOT really you cause that is just what you might be missing..
