Metallic thread....do you have trouble with it?

Here is a great tutorial on how to determine if you have problem thread or good metallic thread.
We probably have all had trouble with our metallic thread at one time or another and have tried all sorts of things to keep it from breaking or raveling into knots while sewing. This tutorial helps us to understand how it is made and what to look for when we purchase metallic thread.

I tried it once, after it unravelling, knotting and causing chaos I threw it out and never ever used it again. that was over 10yrs ago too, perhaps its better now that it was then but thanks for sharing the video, Im interested in it

I had trouble when I first started, but then changed to a metallic needle and haven't had any problem since.... a 90 needle will work well too..
