| Polska came across this quilt and wanted to share it with everyone here. Its a fascinating quilt, I love it. I was telling Polska that when I was in high school, one of my friends, Melissa, well her mum was born in Changi POW camp, her grandma was a prisoner there. I always liked this quilt, thanks for finding it and sharing the link with us all Polska Changi Prison Quilt _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

| Wow. I looked at every square. I thought it deserved my time. Such a thing of beauty from such a dark time and place. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| Oh memaw lots of the made it out and had wonderful lives, they didnt let it ruin their lives at all. My friends melissa's grandma, I went to her place often and she was a wonderful, happy woman there was simply no way being a POW and having her child in Changi was going to ruin her life. So many defied the effects of war and lead their lives with strength and happiness _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon
