| Happy Anniversary. That is an awesome accomplishment. We are pretty laid back around here. We "pig-trail" (get off topic) a lot but no one minds. We go with whatever thought line comes up, just like real conversations. It's great to visit here and enjoy a cuppa. Glad you joined us. It will be fun to get to know you. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| Hi, Welcome. I have only been on here since November and I am really enjoying it. I know you will, too. I still get some of the names mixed up but I am getting more familiar with everyone. It's really fun getting to know other quilters from all over the place.
Happy Anniversary!! 42 years, that's great. We celebrated 44 years in Nov.
I am loving the UFO challange. Check it out, it's a good way to keep you working on projects. What kind of things do you like to work on most?

| Hello I am a newbie to the site. I am an avid quilter for 40+ years and most recently obtained a table top frame Handiquilter11. I use my standby Kenmore ( 20 yrs old) to produce some of my crafts. I winter in Leesubrg Fl and load on up fabric and make my quilt tops, once back in Ontario, Canada I whip up those tops. Keeps me hopping
Now the next quest is to research inexpensive long arms and dream!

| Hi lowjane. 40+ years? Wow. You certainly are not new to quilting. I hope you can post some pics of your work, I am sure you have lovely quilts. I have a TinLizzie18 on a grace frame. I am not that good but I do have a lot of fun. It will be fun to get to know you better. Please just join in anywhere. _________________ TxMaryQuilts

| Hi lowjane, so wonderful you stopped by to say hello and we get to meet you Welcome, hope you like it here and make yourself at home, we just love making new friends. I dont have a frame or a long arm but I can dream! 40+ years, wow, you are an expert! I think Ive only be at it for about 12yrs but I love it. Your travelling sounds like a lot of fun, must be quite a trip from Canada down to Florida each year. I live in Tasmania, its the island state of Australia, we sit below the mainland, last stop before Antarctica. If you need any help finding your way around, dont be shy, we are all happy to help :-) _________________ "My will is mine.....I shall not make it soft for you" Aeschylus, Agamemnon

I'm from SE Michigan. My parents were snowbirds for years. Leesburg, Fl is located about 25 miles north of Disney. It is inland so hopefully my diggs are still there We leave our rv in the south rather than hauling it back and forth across the USA/Canadian border. While south I make on average 6 quilt tops per winter ( queen sized) that I then bring home to set up on my shortarm quilter. I actually am surrounded by quite a few from Michigan. From Port Michigan, Lansing and Canadian Lakes Small World
