4H offers everything from Entomology to Robotics.
The trick is having enough adult volunteers to lead the project groups. Our county has an Archery project group and a horse project group. Those are dedicted to those projects.
The community clubs are broader and help the kids do many different things. The Extension office also has a few projects through out the year like the Cooking challenge and the fashion show. There are photography contests, leadership camps, livestock judging groups and the 2 biggest are the county Fair and Roundup. The fair is self explanatary and the Roundup is a talent show where the kids can show off their talents or participate in public speaking by doing a slide show presentation.
I have done sewing projects with my group, cooking and various other things but they are just small one time projects. Craft projects and presentations by local business people are also popular at our meetings.
The neighbor county has a dog project group (agility) and a photography project group. It is all in who you are lucky enough to have volunteer. Voulunteers make or break these youth groups.
